This workshop is co-sponsored by the Office of Community University Partnerships for Service Learning
Lunch will be served.
Do you teach a course that includes a hands-on component - one that challenges students to work individually or in groups to accomplish a project with impact outside of the classroom? Do you struggle to keep students on-task without micromanaging and making more work for yourself? This workshop introduces strategies and tools from the project management field which can be adapted to support your class. From project planning to interim reporting formats to planned evaluation, these frameworks will help shape courses to both hold students accountable and provide them with the tools to meet project expectations.
